Shelter Programs
Since 1990 Manna Outreach has operated a working shelter in Hobbs, NM to shelter, feed and minister to homeless individuals and families helping them to get work, save their wages, and find homes to move into. We have helped itinerant people locate family members for support and help them reunite with them. We have helped troubled teens finish school and get jobs, and we have ministered to the various needs of homeless individuals. We have received non-violent prisoners who are released from prison with no home or work and have helped them to get jobs and housing.
The board and staff of Manna have learned through our experiences with the homeless over the years and have sought to improve our services in order to have better and longer lasting outcomes for our guests.
In 2013 we expanded our program to provide longer times of residency accompanied with discipleship programs, life skills coaching, a financial savings program, and helping to locate housing opportunities.
Please join us in helping give men, women and families a hand up out of their situations instead of just a hand out.
